My name is Ammar Tosun and I am a fourth year Bachelor of Computer Science, Software Engineering student.

I am running for the President position in CUSA 2021 General Election because I gained a very valuable insight of the undergraduate student experience in my close to 10 years of undergraduate studies in different faculties and programs in various universities across Canada (University of Alberta, 2011-2015; York University, 2015-2017; Carleton University, 2019-2022). I would like to share this journey with you and make the Carleton University a better place for all.

 

I have not stopped volunteering to make the Canadian society and communities better, especially participating in youth projects.

Previous to my studies at Carleton, I worked as a homeschool coordinator for one year in Toronto with a very high satisfactory standing from both the students, parents and shareholders of the organization.
